Mrs. Gamage’s Story

Mrs. Gamage represents the everyday business owner: making sales, taking orders, sending invoices, collecting payments and constantly trying to understand where the money actually went.

Her story is also very close to the story of our founder, Pasan Yasas.

Pasan learned the importance of cashflow the hard way. While running businesses, there were times when money was coming in and sales were happening, yet somehow whatever was earned never seemed to be enough for the business.

Revenue could look healthy, but salaries, suppliers, expenses, outstanding payments and everyday operating costs told a completely different story.

But when he looked for systems to solve the problem, another issue appeared.

Good business management and POS systems could be expensive, particularly for smaller businesses. Other platforms could become complicated, require multiple subscriptions, or ask customers to enter card details before they had even properly experienced the product.

Pasan believed there had to be a simpler way.

Instead of paying separately for one system to create invoices, another to manage the point of sale, and then trying to understand the financial picture somewhere else, the idea was to bring the essential pieces together.
